Design Biennale Rotterdam hosts its inaugural edition in 2025, exploring "experimental and speculative" design over 10 days. The series of events – including exhibitions, talks and workshops – take place at a variety of locations in the city, including larger institutions and independent venues. The 2025 theme is What’s Real is Unfamiliar, which will address topics such as sustainability, diversity and social justice, the biennale claims.
